Ashley Madekwe and Ashley Leggat
Madekwe was raised by an ethnically diverse family. She is English, and her father is Nigerian. She was raised on a south London council estate and attended The Brit School at age 14. At the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art was where she received an acting BA. While attending the academy, she appeared in several stage productions, including the King Henry V playing Princess Katherine and Wuthering Heights portraying Catherine Earnshaw.
Madekwe began her career as an actress with the film Storm Damage. Since then she's made appearances in guest roles in films like Teachers, Doctors Casualty Drop Dead Gorgeous. Madekwe's debut film role was Woody Allen's Cassandra's Dream (2007), alongside Colin Farrell. After that, she played Elisha in the single-episode BBC Three drama pilot West 10 LDN as well as appearing in the six episodes of Trexx and Flipside in the role of Ollie. The year 2008 saw her had the opportunity to play the part as Bambi in The ITV2 show drama Secret Diary of a Call Girl which aired in episodes two and three. Madekwe appeared in the comedic How to Lose Friends and Alienate people (2008). A couple of her credits on stage are Little Sweet Thing (by Roy Williams) and Flight Path (by David Watson).
Madekwe first aired in the US in the US with The Beautiful Life. The drama show ran at The CW for only two episodes before being removed from the air. Ashley Davenport appeared in ABC drama Revenge as of February 2011. Madekwe appeared in all episodes in the series' initial two seasons as a regular. In May 2013, the announcement was made that she would quit the show due to her appearance as a guest on the first episode of the series' third season. She starred as Tituba in the TV show Salem between 2014 and 2016. Madekwe got married to her long-time love, Iddo. They've collaborated on Secret Diary of a Call Girl as well as he was a character on the show Salem.
Ashley Leggat, a twice Gemini nominated actress, was raised in a large family from Hamilton, Ontario. She was raised by her parents Roy and Patty as well as four of their older brothers: Brett, Todd and Bram twins, Rob, and Brett. Ashley's brothers were all extremely athletic and played baseball and hockey throughout the winter and summer months. They grew up playing stadiums and played baseball. Ashley could not walk but danced. In the end, at the age of 2, she discovered Baby Ballet. Ashley discovered her love for dance when she was just a few years old. Ashley was a competitor in ballet, tap and jazz at the top divisions. Ashley took home the best soloist award at every major dance event, such as International Dance Challenge, Showstoppers, 56-7-8 Showtime, Flash Dance, Dance, Dance, Dance and many more, just to mention a few.
